Flashy Moving Bay Gelding looking for 5* Home.

'Mouse' is a bright, sparky horse, with a great attitude towards his work, always willing to learn and full of life.
He has been out of training since a 6 year old, he had a few years turnout out before finding himself with owners who gently and sensitively started to re-train him.

He then found himself turned back out again, through no fault of his own, until I acquired him as a 10 year old.
Mouse is an absolute star, never have I ever ridden such a genuine horse into a fence! He will truly jump and fence I put him at.....that said, he will not jump into water - absolutely hates it, he will go through it and jump out, and when schooling you can build up his confidence to jump in, on competition days you don't have that luxury and he just says no! I have been competing him at BE80 level and the odd BE90 with no issues, but he won't move up the levels because of his dislike towards jumping into water.
He show jumps for fun - water trays, fillers, anything - he'll jump it! Dressage he finds boring and can put in the odd buck - but that is improving(to be honest, it's not something I work hard on as XC is my thing!) He has the potential to affilliate at BD or BS, but my heart is in eventing.
He hacks alone or in company, he is 110% in traffic - we hack over motorway flyovers!

He can be sharp, and quite often sticks in a back (never nasty, just enjoys life a little too much sometimes!) - he is not for a Novice or person lacking confidence, that said, he will come out the same after a week off as he would 1 day off.
He is good as gold to catch, for the vet and farrier, and to clip (he needs twitching or 2 persons to do his ears only) he is good as gold to trim up with clippers.
I want to event to a higher level than he can (believe me, if BE events had no water he would not be going anywhere!!) I owe it to him to find him an awesome home where he can have fun without stressing about me piling on the pressure to move up the levels, he will do BE80s all season long, or equally turn his hoof to pure SJ or dressage....he may even turn his hoof to showing?!

I'm in absolutely no rush to part with him, this is a very very tough decision, he will only go to the perfect home. Home is 100 times more important than price.

Any questions, please please get in touch. I have loads more videos and pictures of him. I've tried to make this advert as honest as possible in order to find him the very best home I can.

We are based in West Sussex, near the Hants border on the South Coast.
