I bought him to be my last horse but he is too much for me , I am too old for him, I am rising 64yrs and in the last year have developed osteo arthritis and recently a dickie ticker , and have realised I don’t have the confidence that I used to have in my younger years.  He has been with me 2 years . 3 lovely rhythmic paces and likes to jump - would easily BE 90 / 100.

For sale or possible long term loan to proven competion home through no fault of his own.

He has a lovely nature and character, excellent manners in the stable, is good for farrier , teeth etc  likes being groomed but will say when he has had enough thank you.

Good to tack up and stands to be mounted

I bought him initially to do a bit of everything and to hack out alone; he will hack alone but can nap, not always and never anything nasty just more than I need to be coping with. Excellent in traffic and has been used to escort young horses out.

He loads and travels well on a lorry , have only tried him on a trailer once , it didn’t go well realizing he had never been on one before and I wasn’t willing to try again.

He can windsuck at feed times but this has diminished since I have had him, it is the only times I have seen him do it.

He is a happy little horse and loves it when he is worked; he needs a proper job .He squeals if he is happy or would like to be mischevious , not fussed about cow parsley but loves bramble leaves .

He is not a novice ride  and he is green. You will need to be an experienced rider . Not currently in work .

Would hope for a long term home for this lovely boy and would very much like to keep in touch with new owner or loaner.

Open to vet . He will come with some of his rugs .

£1,000.00 or possible loan
